Originally likely to launch in August alongside the modern Xbox One and PS4 editions of Minecraft pe maps, 4J Studios' PS Vita port in the popular franchise was unfortunately delayed and is still currently in development. "Minecraft Vita Edition" can also pose some challenges. Sony Computer Entertainment previously said the handheld version is going to provide the same current-generation console experience as the PS3 and Xbox 360. With the Vita not being as powerful as the other two, squeezing the open-world sandbox game could possibly be problematic.
The just released Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition is additionally likely to receive texture and skin packs and received its first yesterday alongside the game's release on that console. However, it really is unclear if the partnership between Microsoft, Mojang and Marvel helps to make the Avengers Skin Pack only at the Xbox 360.
